Mitchell Family near Brasada Ranch

I’ve known Ashley through our wedding business Gallivan Photo for quite a while now. Ashley is a planner and kick butt business owner in her own right (check her out here), and once I found out I was pregnant, she was my go-to person to run potential baby names by while shoveling food in my mouth behind the scenes at the weddings we worked together. I loved hearing about her husband, son and twin girls, but hadn’t met them until the day of this shoot.

Ashley was open to different location options, so I set them up to meet me at Reynolds Pond which is about a 10 minute drive from Brasada Ranch. It’s one of my favorite places to shoot in Central Oregon with families. It’s quiet, has a beautiful view and lots of variety. It ended up being the perfect location for their shoot and one of my favorite family shoots ever.

The Mitchell family clearly has a lot of fun together. Both parents work hard, and also somehow manage to give their kids a magical and fun home life. At the pond they let the kids run free and be themselves which is EXACTLY my dream scenario. So here they are, in all their glory: the Mitchells.
