Welcome to the World Avery: A Portland, Oregon Newborn Session
Are you sensing a theme here? A lot of my newborn and maternity clients lately have been former wedding clients with our other company Gallivan Photo! Cliff and Erica hired us to shoot their elopement years ago, and I was so thrilled when Erica’s friend reached out to arrange this session as part of her baby shower gift. We had originally planned on the session being a maternity session, but Avery Fox decided to grace the world with her presence a little early, so here we are.
We had a wedding to shoot in Portland over the weekend, so I got to visit the Fox’s at their home in Portland for the session. The moody lighting was just right and I couldn’t be happier with how this session came out. Avery was alert for so much of the session, I could hardly believe it!
Erica and Cliff are such a sweet couple, and it was so much fun to see them as new parents. I am continually amazed at how confident my clients are with their brand new babies, as I felt completely terrified with a newborn! It’s so much fun to walk through this life and go through the same things as our clients. I love getting to relate on the trials and the joys of being a new parent while we make beautiful photos.
